John Matthias's liner notes:
"Close-Knit", "Climbing Walls", "Rotate" and "Birdsong" were written with Andrew Prior for the dance-theatre work, "Eden" by Company Chameleon which was choreographed by Jonathan Goddard and Gemma Nixon. The other tracks were all recorded in two days in Devon, England in a 600 year-old school, and the acoustic of that amazing room has been reproduced by the producers on all of the other tracks. We also have made liberal use of the Neurogranular Sampler, an instrument which was invented by us at Art and Sound Research at Plymouth University UK with Kin (London).
