Imho "Inna De Yard" is not a band or musician but a reference to the series of productions with the title "Inna De Yard" by Earl "Chinna" Smith at his studio Chinna's Yard. I think, all these releases are various artists compilations.

Inna de Yard is a series of recording sessions made in Jamaica since the mid-2000s with a "back to basics" spirit : live recordings in a rural atmosphere (inna de yard means 'in the backyard'), low key, simple sessions, often unplugged or half-acoustic. The concept was to capture some of the more senior reggae singers and musicians in their local environment (many of them forgotten outside Jamaica), in a raw sound that break the trend of over-produced reggae and dub. A sort of Buena Vista project in Jamaica. This LP is a selection (or sampler) of the various records published in the series. There are several CDs from the mid-2000s (I cannot recommend enough the Kiddus I record which includes a live unplugged session on DVD), and more recently, a string of 12" and LPs. The sound is generally superb and the music truly refreshing and inspiring. (Note - I am not connected in any way to this project or to the record company - this is only my understanding and knowledge of the project.)

X-MEN
If you don’t have this or haven’t heard it pick it up, it’s not just an average re work album some of the best and important artists in Reggae giving really good soulful performances and re visiting some of their greatest songs with a renewed passion and sound. Recorded up in the hills at Kiddus I studio this recaptures some of the magic we know these artists all have.
