Wrathshaper
Fantastic album that will hopefully one day get the recognition on the collectors market that it deserves. Compared to other titles, this should be a 500$ record. Old bluesman Banks teams up with a young Danish band and produces a mixture of raregroove,Hendrixian Psych and quite hysterical music dominated by his out of his mind rapping and ranking that can't really be described in words. Also way above average lyrics about ODing on drugs, hard street life and more abstract and spacey things. Reminds a bit of the great Del Jones LP, but is much more strange. Could be found in Denmark in the past but seems to have vanished now. A box of unplayed copies from the widow of Banks was unearthed about three years ago. I had a few copies and everyone who got one was flabbergasted after hearing this. Buy a copy as long as it is still affordable.
