If you only own one Punk record... make it this one. An absolute uncompromising classic.

One of the most important albums in Punk history...The views expressed by Crass may not be easily digested by many or most. This album many might still find offensive in some ways, but the reality of this LP still today is that it shines as one of the most outspoken records whereas issues such as roles of men and women are concerned in society. It attacks the institution of marriage with the track B6 'Our Wedding', which was also released as a free insert in a teen magazine in the UK under the guise of it being a tribute to marriage, when it clearly was anything but.The record has a mix of tracks which are both beautiful and melodic as well as somewhat harsh and chaotic, both of which Eve Libertine masters throughout the LP. To this day, i have not heard such an outspoken array of attacks on conformity written from a female perspective. To me, this is part of history, an education far into the reaches of intelligent, thoughtful punk rock vs. stereotypical anti-everything angst. This LP is perfect for those who think on their own, versus those who prefer life scripted for them.
