A very nice soul/disco/house mix from one half of Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince (Jazzy). A nice, and seamless mixture of old (as in 1970's) to more recent material (up to around 2004), Quite a few gems old and new are here from people as big as Barry White, Nina Simone, Brooker T. and the MG's, KRS-One to established house producers like Kerri Chandler and Kenny Dope to some more obscure names like the Trackhedz, and Soulful House group, Blaze. As Jazzy Jeff is one of the world's greatest turntablists, the only minor flaw is that there is a lack of his famous scratching, but he does cut up Herman Kelly's "Dance to the Drummer's Beat", like he did on the Fresh Prince track "Live at the Union Square", which is nice! If you like Jazzy Jeff, and hear him doing a non-hip-hop set, you have come to the right place!!!
