This was the EP that put Frontside on the map. It was first distributed by the independant arm of Mushroom Records (MDS) in Australia, who were also coincidentally touring Sasha & Digweed for the Northern Exposure tour of Australia. One lick and Sasha was hooked, hence the reason this appeared on Northern Exposure 2. Dammerung is a sublime slice of brilliant acid melody, layered with Frontside's melancholy vocal, saying something like - "and the more it takes you there, the more it takes you higher".
