SING
Stunning use of feedback, various effects pedals, and just plain old very good playing, this is a very skilful and enjoyable album from a solo guitarist. Incredibly minimal, with innovative use of guitar, effects, and amp. The tape hiss is unfortunate, and this seems contradictory inasmuch as the player and producer have gone out of their way to use 2" tape rather than a digital recording - one can't help feeling that they could've gone all the way and used better (quieter) equipment. Some very arresting music, great on headphones. 8/10
