Not a big fan of guitars in deephouse, but this one surely is the exception to that. Phunk Theory Theme is up to today one of my favorite Paper records..The lush, deep sounds and the 'trancy' feel would still do grave harm on every contemporary early morning dance floor.

The B side "The Dancer" is still a phat stomper; lets call it tech house today, which use the sample "Dancer" from GINO SOCCIO 1979. Paper was far ahead with this one at 1996. A couple of years ago this sample (similarly made) was used also from BAMBI & GAZEEBO on DISC EDITS DISC003 which they call it "Prancer". The original Artist was not credited at all.
