I think these are the kind of DOL reissues that are worth buying. That is, those whose source material sounded pretty bad to begin with (due to it being very old and recorded in poor equipment, even for that time). So, it doesn't really make much of a difference that they use whatever low quality CDs or digital files they find as a source.This has nothing to do with the music itself contained on the record. Leadbelly's music is a wonderful example of black folk music and blues from the beginning of the 20th century, and something that every blues, folk and country music enthusiast has to listen to.
