Although this (the very first) reissue of "The Truth" is quite a bit pricier and harder to find than the myriad of more recent ones, I can safely say this one sounds the best out of them all. Made from a very clean original, and it sounds all analog to me. Retains the vibe. If you don't want to plunk down, it seems Veals & Geeks did a new vinyl transfer recently, sounds digitally processed but it's probably the 2nd best option. Although I don't believe it includes the lyric insert (only the Subliminal & Del Val reissues do IIRC)

EDIT: Got ahold of the Del Val and it sounds AMAZING - the best reissue for sure!!!! Okay, so the 180g Scorpio repress from 2009 doesn't come with an insert but it sounds pretty good. Considering the price what you get (including the skip on "The Sea") this is not a bad deal. It really sounds better than the Subliminal Sounds, which is legit and comes w/insert.

Mine has the same problem at the end of first track side 1. First it was stuck playing, but after a couple of spins, it now just pops and goes on. Weird pressing fault

i've bought this record twice in different places and there is a problem on the track "the sea" it's scratche at the end, is it a manufactured default on all the vinyls or is it just on few of them? Wathever it's a shame no trace of this problem.

Confirm this as well - for being touted as being pressed on "virgin vinyl" - this is noisier than most new 180g records I own, that said, aside from that one jump - it's a fun / weird record.

Same - could be a cutting flaw or a bad spot on the vinyl they used to make it. However it sounds great otherwise to my ears, as well as the "Armageddon" I picked up - just a shame there's problems on these and no inserts (the Armageddon is warped even being 180g thankfully doesn't needle jump!) cheers

It's on mine too. I think it's a cutting fault.

I bought this record a few years ago sealed. I assumed it was a repress but it says it's this version.

It was booted many times, I think some of the unofficial early re-pressings are not listed here.
