my copy sounds good, no significant pops or noisy pressing. but yeah, it's ambient on vinyl, so you'll hear it's a record (especially with the average dj stylus). it comes in a nice poly sleeve. talk to the sea also had some complaints and in that case my copy does have a high noise floor (pressed by RAND i think, they switched to Pallas after that), as well also small audible scratches due to repeated playing/handling. with that album it's partly the pressing and partly quick wear.

In response to the comments below: the pressing of this release was approved by the technicians at the pressing plant Pallas, by the artist, by us the label and by our distributor. The quality of the pressing is of a very high quality by all assessments. We've tested numerous copies of the release and all play as beautifully as the tests and without any 'crackle' or 'noise'. We suspect what you are referring to is static on your turntable. Please try using an anti static cloth or brush. Beautiful album, unfortunately the vinyl pressing is noisy and down right pops in some of the most calm spots. Beware. ***Edit: Apparently if you clean the record "back and forth, back and forth" it will take out the pop, or so MFM says. Also, if you purchase form Discogs (new sealed) MFM will NOT guarantee product. I guess something can happen to the vinyl inside the sealed sleeve after it leaves MFM headquarters.
