This is psychedelic rock with piercing fuzz guitar on some tracks thanks to Paul Rudolph. Paul had just finished the Deviants #3 album and brought that guitar sound to this lp. Pretty trippy lp with good consistency thru out!

Finally a proper reissue for this old psych classic in mono. The whole deal is great especially with the Aquarian Age 7" added in. I dont want to comment on the sound too much since Im no expert when it comes to this album in particular or mono in general. But first impressions are that its alright at least. The dynamics and instrumental separation could be a lot better though I feel.What I can say is that I find the vocals rather low volume and recessed and that the pressing is not the best. Were talking GZ here and if you know their general standards then you know what youre getting. During music its generally not an issue though. When remixing this, especially the 7" they should have meddled with the vocals more carefully. Some S's and even F's can get quite sibilant at times. An oversight perhaps? Or perhaps my Nag cant track properly that far in.Equipment used:Rega RP1 with Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge Cyrus 2 AmplifierSystem Fidelity SF-3050 speaker towersCustom HQ made speaker cables

I have the Italian AK-064 180 gram release. The album art and labeling are all Twink but the music is Patto's debut album, coincidentally also re-released by Akarma (AK-185). The tracks include The Man, Hold Me Back, Red Glow, Government Man, etc. Definitely not Twink...
