The sound on these recordings are remarkable and that's not just because I did the recordings. These were not "sound board" recordings. Instead, a split head box was used and each instrument mic and vocals were all direct recorded to a Tascam 688 - 8 channel- recorder. Dead Moon sounds here exactly as they sounded on the Satyricon stage in 1993. The mastering by Don Fury is world class. Fred and Toody agree, Dead Moon has never sounded better.
