The Argentinian released sleeve is gorgeous! It has a totally different front cover, different rear cover, and different beautiful pictures from the movie on the inside gatefold. Would be a great addition to any Who collector’s vinyl collection.

this is a beautiful 2017 rsd release from 4/22/17 of this fantastic cult classic from 1979 QUADROPHENIA film soundtrack two lp set, this is the soundtrack to the film so three sides of this lp set are all who quad tracks, side four are tracks that mods where rocking out to in the early 1960s and where used in the film, i have a number of copies of this 2 lp set from various countries around the world but for rsd 2017 they really nailed it by pressing both records on thick parka green vinyl, the inner sleeves are replicated down to perfection as per the original 1979 release, this was released for rsd in THE UK AND EUROPE not the us so there are not many copies of this over here yet, im so pleased we got two beautiful rsd who releases this year the other being the ready steady who 3 ep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a really super nice greek copy of the quadrophenia soundtrack from 1979, this two lp greek pressing came out in 1979 in greece and both the records and the sleeve as well as the nice inner sleeves where pressed in greece, this is a fantastic greek pressing with some greek text in big bold black letters on the rear of the sleeve, greek pressings can be rare becouse way back at the time of releases like this there where only ONE GREEK PRESSING ever to be released by each title weather it be the who or others in most cases, greek pressings dont come to easy in fantastic condition so that is what makes records like this a gem when you find one that does, after these sold out in greece, copies would be exported into greece via the uk, germany or holland so those where usually the future releases and there would never be another original greek title so that is what makes these greek who records gems.................

the date listed here is wrong regarding this release as i am more sure from reading the text on the japan copy of this lp i have that this REISSUE is from 1984, anyway this was a very limited reissue in japan in 1984 and comes with two two sided sheets with most of the same photos from the inlay with the first 1979 pressing and a sheet with lyrics in english and an essay on this film and the who in japanese, very nice and glossy photos i must admit for a reissue of this time, also the sleeve is laminated and the obi rather thick, this has the same gatefold sleeve the original japan and world wide release had, this copy is actually MUCH more rare then the origiginal 1979 copy even though the obi on the original is nicer, THIS ONE IS MUCH HARDER TO FIND............this also does not pop up often......

this was the original japan edition of this two lp soundtrack set from this amazing film back in 1979, this one as you can see has a beautiful obi strip and comes with a great 4 page lyric insert that consists of lyrics in english and an essay on this film in japanese...................

this was a very nice reissue of the 1979 quadrophenia movie soundtrack shm remastered cd from japan with an exact replication of the original lp sleeve from japan with mini inserts and the obi strip being identical to the original japan 1979 2 lp set, this cd sounds awesome as shm mastering is the best sound for the cd format....
