Oof, just listened to the sound samples on juno. Just one dud after another coming out of Loděnice, what's up with the surface noise on their pressings lately?(Especially noticeable on "Luca Il Contrabbandiere - Seq.8" at 0:15...turn it up, sounds like a completely worn out record!)Really, everything is so much better since the Death Waltz/Mondo merger. As an European, i'm overjoyed to pay 35€ (40€ plus shipping) for a shitty sounding record without insert etc. that costs 25$ in the US. I wouldn't even mind paying the shipping cost from the US to Europe (for a record that was actually manufactured in the Czech Republic, 390 miles from where i'm living), if it was pressed by people who know their craft, like i.e. Pallas or Optimal Media GmbH, but i guess that's not as profitable, they're probably pricier than GZ Media, so the valued supporters of Death Waltz get the shit end of the stick.Well, at least the brown vinyl with red splatter looks AMAZING, and if you don't like it or suspect it to be the culprit behind the bad sound, you can still get the black vinyl version, right? Nope.

Is the 1st track of side 1 (You are not the Same) supposed to sound sped up? The second side's version is OK.....just curious....Sorry....I'd be remiss to not mention the rest sounded great, and in general is right up my alley in terms of sleazy disco and "cop music"....

Thanks....it is a great tune. It's too bad the pressing is getting heat, I rather enjoyed it.

It's the same on the CD version. IMO it sounds much more exciting when sped up.

Horrible pressing again. Countless ticks and pops on both sides. Listen the sound samples from juno and you will know what i'm talking about. http://www.juno.co.uk/products/643656-01/

You judge the sound quality with samples from Juno, really?! What do you know about their (Juno´s) sound system? I can tell you that on my turntable it sounds perfect...

Is it possible that the Drummer for this record could be Agostino Marangolo from Goblin?
