My only issue with this excellent archive discovery is the sequencing. The whole concert (including the radio broadcast outro) could have fitted comfortably on 3 discs without having to split any tunes over two discs, and the two alternate takes plus the interview with Roy Brooks on a fourth. I know the interview was actually conducted between sets and segues seamlessly from the previous track but it seems a bizarre decision to leave that in sequence but then insert the two alternate takes between the slightly (and unnecessarily) truncated Noddin' Ya Head Blues and the radio broadcast outro which begins with the last few notes of that tune, purely in order to have the radio outro at the end of the last disc. Even if it were felt essential to leave the interview in sequence, the alternate takes should have formed the last disc so that the ending of Noddin' Ya Head Blues wasn't unceremoniously chopped off.Otherwise, 10/10 for a superb discovery that isn't just another date from a tour.
