One of those records that, when you finally get your hands on you are over joyed to finally own it. I never ever, thought I would own a copy, but now since copies are so easy to come by and so cheaply now was my chance. I guess most people have forgotten about this record all these years on.It samples a Barry White concert filmed in Gent, Belgium in 1990. Warner records tried to get sample clearence / permission but Barry himself denied it. They got this 'Spoonface' guy in to imitate Barry (which sounded awful) and re do the vocals and thus it went to number 1 in the UK singles chart. Mr. White must have regretted what he had done, hence new remixes of Let The Music Play came out and didn't really sell that well. This Is THE version that everyone wanted back in 2000, that was in so limited quantities Judge Jules bought from another DJ in Ibiza to obtain it and to be one of the lucky few to play it on Radio 1 and out in the clubs.
