This is one of those gems that the latter day 'emo revival' has passed by, and folks are all the worse for it. If you can't get enough of the Promise Ring, Mineral, American Football, Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, Pedro The Lion etc sound, then these are the jams you're looking for, right down to the period-appropriate artwork. It's a real shame that Big Wheel never did a vinyl release, else there might be more interest nowadays, at least amongst the crate-digging set. They did a second album as well, which DID see LP-status, but I admit that it's never grabbed me with the same sense of earnest urgency that this one has. Do yourself a favor and check this out!!
