After completing their debut record Peace Will Grind You Down Luna Honey added baritone saxophonist Madeline Billhimer to interpret the the album into a live format. After a few practices, the unique chemistry between band members became apparent and the desire to offer a document of the group began to crystallize. Recorded in two brief live sessions at BLIGHT. studios, Peace Lives offers a companion the PWGYD juxtaposing the layered compositions against the raw live energy of the new versions. The sessions yielded two new songs Red & Black and Inheritance, the latter being written on the spot out of improvised bass and sax line.
