Dexta is starting off the year in a pretty impressive way. We really want you to hear and learn more about his forthcoming release on None60.Chris Royle, a.k.a. Dexta, has been involved in the London drum and bass scene for quite a while now and you may know him as the head honcho of the label Different Music, which he started in 2010. His first release as a producer, though, was in 2013 and it was the collaboration with Mauoq – ‘Torn’. Some of his productions are also released on labels like Dispatch Recordings, Flexout Audio and Nurtured Beatz. Now the time for his first solo release has come and it’s coming on Silent Dust’s None60 label. The tracks from the release are entitled ‘Tempest Dub’ and ‘Mukky Riddim’. Both tunes can easily be described as heavyweight bass stompers, infusing themes from dub and grime at the 160-170-bpm range. Soon we can expect a video for the first bit!Cheers,Soulnd / Stash!
