A few facts about this EP from yours truly, Evil Ed... The vocals for the title track 'The Tournament' were recorded at Task Force's home studio. When I got to their place Chester P had written one verse and he and Farma G proceeded to write the rest of the track and the hook (and also their verses for '4 Elements' by Tommy Evans which we also recorded that day). After a few hours Chester & Farma recorded both tracks in only 2 takes. 'Alien' feat. Jehst has that title as that is what I had named the beat before it was destined to become a track for the EP and we just stuck with it. This track continues to be the most requested of my own work when I DJ although I don't consider it to be very club friendly. The 'potentially dangerous' cuts on "Dangerous Situation" come from an instructional LP about learning to drive. The black sleeve pictured is an odity, the original pressings were in white sleeves with a sticker, the repress in black sleeves with no sticker, but there were a few random original copies with black sleeves and a sticker.
