A bit of an up and down cd this one, although i am a fan of a lot of slower hardcore, the tracks apperaring on this cd below 200 bpm sound quite cheap and misplaced, but all the faster tracks are absolute gems. These czechian and slovakian producers really do have a taste for mixing old-skool trance-like melodies with speedcore beats, and they do it very well. The highlight of the album would have to be the Damage Analyse track 'Returning Remorse'. Although the term 'progressively melodic speedcore' sounds downright cheesy and laughable, i can assure you it works, this is an absolute killer track, as are most tracks from this under appreciated speedcore producer. Probably the best of the Statues Of Sound series so far, and would recieve an easy 5/5 if it werent for a few tracks with there 'party hardcore' sound that really just seem to interrupt the hard, fast, and very dark atmosphere emitted from the most part of the album.
