This albums stands out for its originality in the selection of sounds that evokes well the Baroque times, melodies here are strong , they are touching, uplifting, relaxing, deep, and somehow melancholic. Overall a high quality production.

When listened to in the right frame of mind and personal situation, this recording takes you on a journey which will bring many emotions, elation, sadness, wonderment.... hairs up on your arms & the back of your neck, a lump in your throat, a tear in the corner of your eye. A truly stunning piece of work.

Not all is always about innovation, after that just arrive the interpretation, roots they consumed by desire of stay and then, even the consummation, and later decay again, and the cycle flows, and so and so on,.. nevertheless, everything is relative, no fixation neither permanent answers, only continuity... You're probably wrong (maybe, i too), doesn't matter...anyway, this is a truly great symphonic Vangelis album...[period]

I find this one very boring. Nothing new from Vangelis, nothing progressive and no electro-pioneering, technocratic feeling anymore. Nothing come close to his earlier years, say 1973-1985. Sorry

Mind that the signature is not really an original written signature but its placed on the disc by the use of a stamp!According to the posted pictures there is an original signature on the back of this box, but that is also not the case in all of them!!! Don't let that be fool you, there is not one original Vangelis Signature in or on this boxset whatsoever.

This is exactly what I tried to explain earlier, Unfortunate these "signatures" are placed by a stamp with golden ink. If you look online you probably can find more info regarding this matter. ..and I have also photoshopped different "signatures" from different cd's and layered them over each other. Not one difference in all of them (isn't that odd?), because they are exactly the same! I wish it was an original signature but again unfortunately it is not......Sorry for being the bringer of bad news.

Hello. I bought this beautiful edition in 2000 directly at the national gallery in Athen. Mine is the copy n° 2039 and i ensure you that there is absolutely an hand written signature in the front of the CD. On the left you can see the number of the copy ( 2039/3000 ) on the right the Vangelis signature...Badly written with a golden pencil

A Masterpiece. Vangelis proves beyond doubt that he is a consumate, modern-day classical composer and all-round musical genius. Some immense and moving sounds here. Since I bought this CD, I have listened to it almost every day - no exaggeration!
