Um, well (cough), this is France Gall. Until now, before I accidentially came across this one, I used to run away as soon as I noticed myself listening to one of her bizarre (German speaking) Schlager products. But this one baffled me big time. She is actually singing in there about what we would call online-dating today. Finding a partner with the help of computers and its databases and it is all about technology, science and electronic brains. all that in a Schlager song in 1968. (go figure!) meanwhile I have watched an original video where she sang at the German Schlager festival in Berlin back then looking for her "boy" in "Der Computer Nr. 3", from nowadays prospective a cute girl and decent (I personally think that has more spirit than almost all female video clip acts of today)anyway, I can't wait to hold this oddity in my hands!

you are absolutely right! my parents had this single when i was a child and i loved to listen to it. by now, i too see how far ahead of its time it was ... and YES, it still is an oddity, but one that is charming!
