Mysterious Wrench
Noisy pressing. Lots of ticks and pops all sides. (black vinyl version). I could do without sides 3 & 4, not very memorable or original made worse by constant pops and seems like an afterthought to complete a double lp. Sides 1 & 2 are the meat and potatoes. Whatever pressing plant Ecstatic is using for these Abul Mogard lp's they should really find a new one for future pressings since the Works and Circular Forms reissues and now this all suffer from an incredible amount of surface noise. Bandcamp aiff's & wavs will be the way to go for future Abul Mogard albums for me since it doesn't look like the label is pressing CDs any time soon, which is the perfect format for this ambient music. I work too hard to throw away $30.00 for an album, now times three.
