"Trihedron," the first track off DJ Krush's MESSAGE AT THE DEPTH, morphs from organic sounds to a solid rhythm, as a double bass and, later, a horn, quietly snake their way through. "Toki No Tabiji" is heavier and equally abstract, though the Japanese rap keeps things more down to earth. Krush seems to take a more industrial approach overall to his hip-hop, with the mechanical grind of "Sanity Requiem" or the submarine glugs on "Supreme Team" (which is kept in motion by the Antipop Consortium). The long "The Blackhole" has a jittery paranoia around it, while the cLOUDDEAD guys add their voices to the political "Song For John Walker." Meanwhile, the country-western twang on "Aletheuo (Truthspeaking)" gives that track a unique sensibility, aided, in no small part, by Angelina Esparza's dreamy vocals. Sly & Robbie help out with the dub on "The Lost Voices," while "But The World Moves On" dives back into the jazz. The album ends on the dub of "What About Tomorrow," closing out one of Krush's most complex works to date.

I think this is my favourite DJ Krush release due to the tracks Trihedron and The Black Hole. These are absolutly outstanding tracks. They are both very abstract. The Black Hole sounds like a Chorus/Flanger filter was put on his drum samples, or something like that, making it sound glitchy and stuff, it's totaly insane. The third track is like it, but the samples are less sharp, more repeatitive, and hardcore. Other tracks have this style on this album too, it's my favourite style ever. Also, The Black Hole lasts 9 minutes which is also a great plus! Track 7 is also a good one.
