The Claudio Prc rewipe has really fully grown on me, and is a striking example of where source material is confidently reworked and reinterpreted through a sincere take on the music by the respective artist. Claudio PRC delivers a seamlessly textured piece, combining magical, delicate passages, ethereal acidic bleeps and lavish, ample soundscapes to fill in the big techno room. All the while, the music is anchored by a rather thumping kick, making the juxtaposition of the celestial sound design and the more rougher elements all the more obvious.Best of all how much this piece breathes when dropped through a large speaker system. You'd expect that a producer known for his sparse touch could not really up the game, but on his take of the timeless Teste classic, incredible amounts of bass keep stacking up in the corners as the vast layers continuously shift in loudness, shape and form. You cannot believe how amazing does this track sound when you're standing in the middle of the room, all coated up in blankets of dense sound, head nodding to the rhythm, with the bass bins steadily releasing tidal waves of humming bass drops. This is a perfectly measured piece of tripped out techno. Well paced, clinically arranged and rounded off with enough bass response to send any hazy dance podium further into kingdom come. Seriously awesome track. The crowd really embarks on a journey if you play this for them. Definitely a keeper and something that those of you after that deeper aesthetic should have on the shelf.
