Back in the 90ies, Basic Channel got that much interest because it was "not available", "was a secret", "was being pressed in Detroit, no artist photos, no interviews"... This aroused a huge "I need that" feeling for that label. Seriously, this record is so hypnotic and completely amazing. Often imitated, but never equaled. This right here is the original groove. The Holy Grail™ of Dub Techno. Pay your respects.

But the main point of these tracks (or this track if you know what i mean) is that bright refreshing funky sound that makes you wanna run streight to the danceflour & jump. Jump & smile at the same time. It`s not that often you may find such a bright uplifting side of dub techno.There is a lot of sunlight here. And a groove of course...

Couldn't agree with you more. M4 is my alltime favorite Maurizio 12"... 4.5 a close second, but then I love 5-7 so much too. M4 is my most played one. It is oxygen itself. Bloody essential and classic.
