An Amazon review from Stewart Brodian:May 9, 2013
Back in the day, when I was going through a changeover in my life, i didn't have enough money to produce a CD or, even go into the recording studio.
A local DJ named Phil Stahl ran a few open mic nights during the week.
He recorded his open mic nights for his radio show and I asked if I could record my (then) new originals for a cassette of my music.
He was nice enough to let me do so and, I used a dual deck recorder to edit the recording and make copies.
What you have here are a mixture of songs that I had already made studio versions of, some new material and some old compositions that (at that time) I hadn't yet gotten around to recording professionally.
There are acoustic guitar versions of some of my better known songs, such as "Special Lady" and quite a few solo piano instrumentals. Some of the piano compositions are ragtime-ish, some are slow/classical style.
