A shame there was no vinyl release of the unreleased remixes like there was with the previous 2 chilled euphorias. I love this album though, certainly one of the classics of this series along with the previous 2 chilled euphorias. The ambient mix of solar stone the calling and the Moonwatcher's Dead Calm remix of Dutch Force deadline are definitely my favourite tracks/remixes on here. Great selection of tracks over all though, 10 tenths

A pure melodic masterpiece that paints a thousand tranquil pictures, in it's sun drenched symphonic Odyssey into relaxation nirvana. This has effortlessly lifted the toils of many a hard day, and been the soundtrack to many a summer sunset and moonlit massage's too boot. The very best of its genre in my opinion, along with React's Real Ibiza series.Compiled & mixed beautifully, it's lovingly crafted by two men Andy & Rich who really understand how much effort it takes to make an ambient mix CD sound so silky smooth and dream dazzlingly gorgeous...If you haven't had a listen to this yet, what are you waiting for.Go buy it, it's a keeper!

This is probably the closest the much loved Chilled Euphoria collection has come to genius. Oddly enough this newer volume is also quite a bit rarer than the other two volumes - though not impossibly so. I would like to think its because people keep hold of their copies, but who knows... As I mentioned of the other two compilations these collections tend to include a few deal breakers that rather spoil an otherwise beautiful desert table with sawdust and iron fillings. Mercifully this is far less true of this collection, and most of my objections will probably be largely my own and no one elses. The remix of Garbages "milk" is enough to render a cheerful person inert with despair, so perhaps avoid the first disk if you find yourself in the middle of a painful divorce. There's nothing much preventing me from heaping unreserved praise on the second cd. It starts of a touch mediocre, but after the genius touch of Michael Woods on Saints and Sinners 'Peace' it doesn't put a foot wrong. Finally it seems that enough care was taken in selecting and mixing the tracks for this compilation. FSOL's ambient version of "Papua..." is genius, the (hard to find) ambient mix of Strange world is stone cold genius, any more from me and i'll just be assigning random praise-filled adjectives to each of the subsequent tracks - so just assume that they're all very very good. So the story ends happily... ...if it wasn't for the careless 3CD attempt recently spat out of ministry of sounds dirty office corridors - with no thought put into selection, order or process. So if you take Solarstones brilliant contribution as the glorious swansong of the true Chilled Euphoria trilogy, and ignore the bastardised pretender to the throne who just borrowed the Chilled Euphoria title to sell a few more units, carelessly retreading ground that its older sibblings had already trodden with much more care, attention and love, then we can all get along happily.
