Listened closely to this record for the first time in a long time. Still relevant and still hits hard. Consolidated belong in the same pantheon as Public Enemy, Disposable Heroes etc. Angry, liberal, communistic idealism never goes out of style as far as I'm concerned. I bet this would piss Trump off MAJORLY! Necessary for any Pinko, Unionist, Anarcho-syndicalist etc.

"There is no America. There is no democracy. There is only IBM, and ITT, and AT&T, and DuPont, Dow, Union Carbide, and Exxon." - the speech used in 'America Number One' was inspired in the 1976 Movie Classic 'Network' screenplay, featuring a constellation of great actors - Faye Dunaway, William Holden, Peter Finch & Robert Duvall and Ned Beatty - the character responsible for the speech itself - an angry explanation to Peter Finch's character of how the international system really works."We're Number One!" quote is also in this movie - when the crowd responds cheering to the leading executive played by Faye Dunaway, responsible for the TV channel's peak audience.
