This was one of the first DJ battle records to come out. Before this there was mainly only the Simon Harris produced, Beats, Breaks & Scratches series of albums.What made this different from those type of records was that Super Duck Breaks took the best elements from them and put them onto one piece of wax. Designed specifically for the (then) new turntablist breed of dj's by DJ Babu - who incidentally released this under an alias and the dj world yearned to know who put it out - and put all the greatest sounds, stabs and stings in 2 brief tracks with no gaps from one sound to the next. This meant that dj's could cut up with ease knowing that there was no long wait from one sound until the next.This still sells today over 12 years on.
