A1: House (Latin). Fairly nondescript opening, the track takes ages to settle down. the vocal and latin don't sit easily and it's not until nearly halfway that the changes does it come together. Yes both halves are latin in style but they bear no relationship to each other. As if the track has been mixed halfway through. The second half is completely brilliant. Soaring vocal and vocal loop over divine piano loop. It does that for a while and then disappears leaving a kick drum. This key section is much better utilised on the flip. [SEVEN]A2: House (Latin) Same as the A1 but it loses the vocal from the first half which staggeringly blends the piece much better. It does lose the big diva vocal of the second half though which raises it to soaring stomper. In effect what it gains in losing the vocal in the first half it loses in the second. [SEVEN]B1: House (Latin): Slow starter as the elements of the track are introduced fairly methodically. Only when the chunky funky bass is added will you start to groove but almost instantly you're into a deep, deep breakdown almost as long as the track has been running thus far. It would probably help if you were familiar with the track but either way when it breaks back in it will smash up the place. Great beats effective vocal and a latin piano loop that's brain meltingly superb. Another quick breakdown and another punch back in for an extended period. Now another deep breakdown (all about building anticipation?) and whack in again. In full flight this is peerless. It will make you and everyone around you dance. The breakdowns are deep. What you'd hear in a basement toilet minimal. It was the style at the time. It's effective but requires either patience or familiarity. [TEN]B2: Accapella. [UNRATED]
