My copy of the VMP pressing plays absolutely perfect with no locked groove senario present as purported on the submission. It is interesting that all the vinyl versions are munufactured using the same plates (PTKF2158-1-A BG 175945E1/A and PTKF2158-1-B BG 175945E2/A2). Currently I have played the Deluxe, Orange, Pink and VMP pressings and not encountered any 'locked groove' problem.

The 'locked groove' can be better described as an intentional loop sound on the runout area on the last track of side B. However the intended effect is totally undedectable unless played on a manual turntable.

Unfortunately I asked VMP and they said they're already all out of stock, so no luck there. I'll wait for a decent human being to put up one for sale for 40 bucks or less. But thx anyway. :)

If you're a VMP member you should try reaching out to customer service to see if they have any leftovers. I know they hold onto a certain amount in case of defects/shipping problems etc., but after a while they'll set up a custom order if you ask and there's still some available. Got a copy of this coming to me in the mail this week.

After brushing away the normal amount of dust for a new record, it played very well. Not pops or surface noise. Pretty good pressing. Saw them live for the second time yesterday, in Lisbon. It was fucking beautiful!
