This re-issue is essentially a bootleg (read up on the ironically named 'Above Board Distribution'. The sound is absolutely terrible. Suggest saving up and buying an original pressing, or waiting for a proper Salsoul re-issue.

Yeah ... me too, bought it to protect my original copy, but the pressing sounds really like a counterfeit or bootleg. Never ever is this thing remastered. If it is, the guy behind was deaf ...

I think you might be referring to another version. This is an official reissue, and mine sounds just as good as the original..

Leroy Burgess and Larry Levan's famous 1981 post-disco project enjoys a well-deserved reissue. Leroy's vocals are at their very peak, flexing around that midrange that allows him to dynamically hit both high and low moments while Levan's production ensures the entire band shines in the right places; the salubrious slap bass on the Wonder-esque "Dancing Into The Stars", the full-flavour backing vocal harmonies on "Something Else", the interstellar keys on "Lay It On The Line"... Everyone in the Logg project plays a pivotal role in one of the coolest boogie records of the era. Essential.
