The Jah Scoop remix of "Foundation" is an absolute blaster, a late contender for tune of 2016 (for me at least). Holy shit, this acid-reggae monster will devastate acid fiends and rude-boys alike. What a stomping, groovy track. I don't even know what else to say. Monumental tune. One of my faves of recent memory.Pete's remix is quality as well, and those familiar with his work will know what to expect here. Thundering kicks, relentless energy, and an excellent use of samples and percussion flourishes. Sure to pound any warehouse. The remix of Revolution is excellent deep acid techno, similar to some of Geezer's work on WahWah and elsewhere. Dirty, bubbly, and dark, but not overly hard and evil. Just a grumbling acid roller with light rasta vibes. On another release, this might be top pick. But that fuckin' Jah Scoop remix, man.
