Love this album, never heard it before now! Glad to have discovered it when I was buying up a bunch of Silent releases, which is a great label overall. This album definitely leans to the shoegaze sounds of the time and has sadly never been issued on vinyl. I emailed a few labels about this release and they were not interested at this time but someone should definitely release this lost classic again.

Agalas
A sadly obscure and underrated release of lovely ambient pieces and shoegazer dreampop tracks that rival Slowdive's walls of gorgeous sound. Silent Records released this with a sticker that said "file under indie ambient" and a better sub-genre can't be found to apply to this disc. Perhaps it remains a product of the early nineties with its somewhat naive sound (and "2001" samples), but it is, to me, one of the best CDs released on Silent.
