Notes

Live album recorded at Le Botanique, Bruxelles, September 8th, 1997 (first leg of the tour) and in Ontmoetingscentrum Marke, Marke, April 4th, 1998 (second leg, with a different setlist).
Marke is a city in the suburds of Kortrijk (Courtrai).

This album was released on various pressings, including 13, 14, 15 or 16 live tracks.
Due to a glitch of 1 second on the original DAT, "Moldavia" was edited of around 6 seconds on “Re:Boot”. The complete Bruxelles gig (including the glitch) was made available on the unofficial CDr “Re:Bootleg 1” sold by the Front 242 fanclub “Transmission 242”.

- Tracks 1 to 8, 13: Bruxelles 1997
- Tracks 9 to 12 : Marke 1998

The name of the album was modified for the US release from [: RE:BOOT: (L. IV. E ] ) to [: RE:BOOT: (L. IV. E '98] ).

In 1998 Roland Music Equipment sponsored a small world tour for Front 242. This release captures one of those gigs. All songs have been rearranged (with Roland Equipment of course) and sound a little more dance oriented than their original versions. Although the dance treatment works well on some songs, I feel that some depth is lacking and the live drums sound rather weak. The album hits rock bottom when Richard 23 chants "sex is good" during 'Body to Body'...
