The record is very well pressed in my thoughts , plenty of transperency and clear highs and great low end bass ... It sounds better than major releases .

Great tracks but the vinyl is very noisy, unfortunately. ((

Most Likely Seefeel's rarest release, the 'i-01' EP (as it is rightly titled) is a promotional white label limited to just 500 copies. It was distributed at their early gigs while the band were in limbo between 'Too Pure' and 'Warp', hence the mixture of tracks and/or mixes contained on it. Other than sounding a little rougher in the production department, 'Starethrough' sounds very similar to the version present on the EP they later released with Warp. 'Signals (Momentum 1.3 Remix)' is definitely the highlight track for me as it takes the FX-swathed guitar drones of the original and places a cautious insurgence of paranoid beats (and a few additional FX) overtop. 'Filter Dub (Low Pass Remix)' takes the ethereal guitar haze of the original and deconstructs it entirely whilst highlighting Daren's bass guitar section. A great record to own for hardcore Seefeel fans if you can track down a copy.
