This is a rather odd promotional item, supposedly sent out to hype up the Andy Kaufman movie "Man On The Moon," and somehow found its way to many US college radio stations (where I first heard about it). The A side is the original cartoon theme song, supposedly by The Sandpipers. The B side is somewhere between brilliant and silly - DJ Swamp chopping up a bit of Andy Kaufman, the original theme, and adding some slightly dated techno loops in. After listening to this a number of times after the initial amusement wore off, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think I like it, but I think DJ Swamp could have done more with it.
