I had a review of this up at one time, contrary to what is previously posted, THIS IS NOT THE LATER UFO MIX. This one off odd ball RCA promo only single is another version. The UFO version being the initial mix released then the Century City mix and then this single.UFO/Century City same recording, different mix. This recording, stripoed down, voice and guitar mostly and the end a new verse written replacing a previous verse. It has been written/shared Jim never wanted all the over dubbing, I don't know if that is true but it has been said on the Light in the Attic reissue no one knows why or when it was remixed for Century City. However that version of UFO has a lot of the mix muted or stripped down and this version of the song makes sense as a bare bones version as you would have seen him in the bars performing. Rerecording was not new for Jim Sullivan, he had done so already for the Playboy album previously with two songs from UFO, however, irony or not from a new producer/arrsnger, these versions were well arranged.The B side only appears here and is worth the price of admission alone in my opinion. Both sides of this RCA single are posted on YouTube. Use RCA single in the title to narrow them down.

This is not the later mix from UFO. UFO saw 3 incarnates, the original MONIE (good luck finding it), the Century City Re-Release (remixed) AND the Light in the Attic re-release. This above version is technically another version (3rd if you consider the remixed Century City Records version - some tracks on that LP are RADICALLY remixed while others are minor).This version has ALL the orchestration gone, basic guitar and Jim's vocals in rough edge with some backing vocals at one point. This side has PLUG SIDE for the song and not sure if this was wedged between the Century City Record version of UFO (which the Century City version is self titled) and the Playboy record release of AFTER the playboy release. There is no year on the 45.The B-Side Lorelei Lee is a gem, again a little rough on the vocals but a great song none the less. Makes me wonder if Jim recorded more stuff for RCA or if that work was used for Playboy (he did end up re-recording two other tracks from UFO for the PLAYBOY release),
