Although House of Pain's rhyming style is a little off-the-cuff and not always serious (they have a bunch-of-guys-in-a-cipher-rhyming-off-the-dome feel to them), this album proved they weren't a one-hit wonder. Same As It Ever Was is a better overall album than their debut, and has great production from Muggs, Diamond D, etc.
