As clarkee said - although I'm sure a lot of people owned this wicked ep at the time, easygroove certainly became the guy known for breaking the tune first & also dropping it at all the big parties. A bit of trivia also, when we brought dennis to perth in 1998, he stated to me that nrg came out of the crowd at fantazia second sight (where he was the stage manager) & gave him the white label which he then dropped in his set...the rest is history.

Oh Definately mate..I agree, although sometimes a mix with an unfamiliar track can turn out not as planned!!..To digress though, Something wasn't adding up about Easygroove telling you Neil Rumney had given this to him at Fantazia Second Sight and then i remembered, If Easygroove told you the truth then Neil Rumney must have given this to him at Fantazia Takes You Into 1992 New Years Eve December 31st 1991 and not at Fantazia Second Sight. Easygroove had already played this at Fantazia Takes You Into 1992 New Years Eve December 31st 1991, he did play at Fantazia Second Sight along with Dj SS but that event was held on Friday February 21st 1992, i thought something was weird but i couldn't think what it was and then i remembered..Wicked tune though and Easygroove incorporated it superbly into his New Years Eve Set.

I dunno can be done...depends how much you plan a set, personally I mostly just sort the 1st few tunes, then wing it as I go, how the crowd reacts...have had ppl give me trax to play on the night at a gig & have done it & I've done it to other DJs before on a big night to get the free promo...possible he gave a copy to a few DJs, ya never know who/when might drop it?

Dj Easygroove done well to incorporate that into his set at such short notice? And Dj SS played it that night aswell, did Neil Rumney also give Dj SS a copy that night too? i personally would have thought they both would have had a copy of that before they put they're sets together for that night, i stand to be corrected though.

True, I cant remember anyone other dennnis [easygroove] playing this. Although Im sure I played this at a dreamscape event. Neil Rumney aka nrg, aka inner sense is one of my favourite producers. He had the uncanny knack of getting a pretty obscure sample and making it sound sublimely perfect in the middle of a roaring breakbeat rave track without it sounding like complete cheese. Not an easy thing to do, all his songs warrant listening to through the ENTIRE track. Which is no mean feat. MISS THIS AT YOUR PERIL PEOPLE.

This massive hardcore release has it all.everyone should know this massive easygroove anthem from 1992.it has the classic mary poppins sample in the break. "just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down" coupled with very smart hard and fast breakbeats this would be more than enough for a very decent tune, but they take it even further by adding one of the best hardcore piano breakdowns ive ever heard, making this a true hardcore anthem in every sense of the word.
