Notes

"Loss Of Face" was a collaborative exhibition featuring the photographic art of John Goto accompanied by an electronically generated score by Michael Young.

Michael Young is a composer and lecturer at the School of Art, Publishing and Music at Oxford Brookes University. Field recordings taken around Norfolk and Oxfordshire provide the basis for the music which was generated by computer-based processes of fragmentation, distortion and collage. The seven tracks were played randomly and sporadically in the exhibition space.
