Both sides are fantastic, if admittedly similar. Welfarre is slightly darker and grittier, while Hong Kong Garden has a catchy and oddly melodic riff right at the main break. But both exude that hard, driving '90s acid sound typical of VCF. Quality.Edit: it never really occurred to me before, but this was the last vinyl VCF release. Looking back, this was a great record to go out on---very indicative of the label's sound, especially for as late as 2001.
