This is such a fantastic album. It is very much in need of a Vinyl release...

Brilliant album -- front to back. 'When Can' feels like a video game OST so I can see how some people are turned off. Highlight tracks for me:KirstenAdmittanceMissing TimeGrandcan

Totally agreed with the 'noodling' post initially. An unusual collaboration where one unnamed artist seems downright reluctant to contribute his input. Noodling aside, this release has its moments and a few non moments until the final track , where the awkwardness subsided and we are treated to a fantastic track.

exhumer, I think both artists contributed a lot, just not in the ways you might expect. From an interview with Igloo Magazine:"We didn’t set any ground rules, but I think after working on it for a while we both developed some kind of unspoken notion that we wanted to create something different; not just an obvious mix between our styles, but a new organism. Most people would actually be surprised that a lot of the melodic wit and playfulness actually came from Secede, while I did my fair share of atmospheric rain-forest lushness. I think that’s the main reason it sounds ‘different’ to most: there was no task-division, really."

This is an all-time favorite album. Stands up beautifully to repeat listens, so textured and with so much depth and detail to constantly surprise, charm, and transport the listener. I couldn't recommend it more. Kettel and Secede have combined to create something far greater than the sum of its parts. The album is conceptual and cohesive, and not easily categorizable. In other words, it's timeless. Just beautiful.

Far too much noodling for my tastes, this album rarely develops any kind of groove except perhaps on tracks Deliria Noon and Fullmoon. The ambient pieces are layered with too many harp pluckings and aimless percussion, the result sounds a bit too much like the soundtrack to candyland or some other silly place that is too difficult to take seriously. Their previous outings are clearly superior.
